Having had my third and final visit, my back feels great again . Was delighted when Physio suggested that I didn't need to attend again unless I felt it necessary. All I had to do was 'phone them.

Having strained my back, was delighted when Gillian was able to see me quickly and I feel the benefit after two visits although I'm still attending.
I broke my ankle at the beginning of the year and when my plaster was removed I was left in excruciating pain and could not walk without cruches. II had my fourth appointment with Gillian today and was able to walk in unaided with very little pain. What a difference in such a short time. I would highly recommend. I am sooooo grateful.
Bothwell Physiotherapy is very centrally located just 15-20 minutes from Glasgow city centre, 10-15 minutes from Airdrie, Coatbridge and less than 10 minutes from Hamilton, Motherwell and East Kilbride. WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT - you will be warmly greeted by the receptionist, asked to fill in your details and a few questions regarding your current condition and medical history. The physiotherapist will lead you through to one of four individual and private treatment rooms where you will be asked further detailed questions about your history. With your consent the physiotherapist will then assess you. To assess you effectively you may have to remove some clothing, so wear loose fitting comfortable clothes and it would be useful if you could bring shorts or a strappy top if appropriate. Your physiotherapist will complete a detailed and thorough assessment of your problem including range of movement, muscle power, neurological testing, muscle spasm and pain along with any possible underlying causes and will give you a working diagnosis for your problem. At Bothwell Physiotherapy we aim to educate you about your problem and give you a better understanding of what is causing your pain. This empowers you to help yourself. After your initial assessment your physiotherapist will then construct and discuss an individualised treatment plan for you. He/She will then offer you a variety of treatment techniques to help restore normal function to the relevant area.
