    Seemingly surounded by the results of the current wave of Chinese Buffet restaurants YUMLA is an island of elegancefor the discerning and dedicated Chinese Diner. The staff, all dressed in Cheong Sam, (a pleasure to the Ham Sap Chi among us) deal with your needs in a pleasant, cheerful manner. An extensive business lunch menu is available for those of us with little time to spare, however, ask for the a la carte menu if you wish to linger and enjoy Chinese Cuisine at it's, very nearly, best. Take your time, ponder, consult with "Madre d" and you'll be overwhelmed by the choice and quality of the food available. The restauant is open all afternoon so you don't have to throw the food down your neck to be out by 2pm. I will not, at this stage, go into the different choices available, I have not found a dish yet that I did not enjoy. Go along there next time you're in Glasgow, it's just off Argyl Street towards Ingram Street, and oft stated, discard the KF&S and get stuck in with chopsticks and rice bowl. Enjoy! JL Arran
