  Was looking for another jewellery repairer, but so glad I stopped here! Although I was just buying a silver chain, staff were so helpful & couldn't do enough. Highly recommended, & enjoyed the chocolates!

  Have shopped in McIntyres on several occassions. Recently purchased a diamond necklace for my neice who was over the moon with her gift. The staff and the quality were so excellent my nephew wants me to take him there to purchase his gift of a watch. I have recently retired and this was there keep sake presents from an aunt who loves them dearly. i only buy the best and McIntyres have that.

  This morning I popped into McIntyres on the recommendation from a friend. I was more than impressed with the customer service I recieved from a member of staff (sorry i have forgotten her name, however she was instantly notable by her cool white creeper style shoes, meant as a compliment by the way). She listened to my ideas as to what I wanted, let me know the range of possibilities open to me and after further dialogue accompanied me down to the first floor to view similar rings... so thank you to the girl in the white shoes! p.s from an observational perspective I sensed that not all the staff had the same level of friendliness and the range of communication skills and capacity to make me feel at ease and that I was a valuable customer

  I can't believe the service you get in John Macintyres - it's the best I've experienced in a long time. Donna helped me choose a lovely gold bangle for my friend and although I only spent £27 but she made me feel a million dollars - I'll be back!!

  I have purchased numerous pieces of jewellery from John McIntyre & Sons and in the main the service has been good. Recently, however, my daughters took me there to buy me a fiftieth birthday present. The assistant was hardly interested and took the shine off what was a special occasion between mum and daughters. I was really disappointed with the service. Mr McIntyre take note - previously I automatically thought of McIntyre's as my first port of call for jewellery. I'm not sure that will be the case next time.

  My wife and I have shopped in Macintyres for a number of years and we keep returning because they only employ highly trained professional and friendly staff. Their jewellery and gifts offer exceptional quality and the outstanding value for money. Jewellery is never a cheap item to purchase but when you do want that something special you want to know that the advice you receive is both accurate and that you are getting good value. Macintyre's acheive this again and again. Please don't change and continue to be our King of Diamonds.

  I always find great value for money when i shop with john mcintyre & sons. I find the staff all very helpful and pleasant. Any repairs or adjustments are done promptly. I always go to john mcintyre &sons before i consider anyplace else. Keep up the good service.
