Amazing Value

Not living in Glasgow's city centre myself, I've had to use hotels on occasion for business. This was my most recent sampling, and I was very pleased with it. It is a Travel Inn, so don't expect five star food, drink or atmosphere, however it's not a world away from that either. For the budget price, it'll beat any other hotels in the area in terms of room quality, food quality and hospitality, all of which I'm delighted to say are very good. Although I didn't make use of any of the premium features during my stay, my basic room had a TV and a shower which delivered high-pressure, hot water (always important after a night out, I think!) The price was very, very cheap by city centre standards and so I would recommend it to everyone - not just professionals on a budget.

One of the better travel inns..

Fantastic is one word to describe my experience here. Situated right in the heart of Glasgow, it is easy to go for a night out and find your way back here with absolutely no problems whatsoever. I was treated patiently and with respect at every stage of my stay here, from checking in to checking out.The staff were very friendly and the room itself was spacious with lots of added facilities. Arriving with my fianceé, we expected all that can be expected in a budget hotel. However, we found there was not just a bed, but a sofa, TV, excellent en-suite shower and bathroom facilities and a warm and hearty breakfast in the morning. Having a bit of experience with travel inns in Glasgow, I can definately say this one is best - for location, staff, rooms and food. Excellent service for a budget hotel.

Its ok

The location is ideal for Queen Street train station and city centre, however it is a VERY noisy hotel. Pubs and clubs nearby make it noisy outside until the early hours. If you're not happy with your room for any reason the friendly hotel staff will assist if they can.
