Ordered a sofa from Reid last year. Although it wasnt at this branch its the same system you go through regardless. Delivery was supposed to be 6 weeks and we`d arranged to be in, although they said they`d phone us to let us know the details beforehand. They didnt turn up! And no call as to say why eventually managed to get through on the phone line(apparently theyd had problems with it) and rearranged delivery. No apology given. The next time exactly the same thing happend and again a third time. No explantion of why. Eventially i got fed up with the phone line and went back to the branch i`d bought it from. Staff were plesent but fairly unhelpfull and simply refered me back to the phone line. I eventually went down to their head office in Hillington and sat there untill i got my money back. While sitting i could here their headoffice line constantly busy with people asking why they hadnt delivered their sofa. The customer service lady was very pleasent but she could not arrange a time or date to deliver the sofa which ment we wouldnt have to take time off work. She couldnt even garantee that it would be delivered the following week. I eventually got my money back but no apology!
