Cinderella Designer Gowns

I hired a dress from this company recently and I was not impressed at all with the service I received. There was a poor selection of dresses, they didn’t have dresses like those pictured on the website, and the dresses were of poor quality (one dress strapped broke while I was trying the dress on). When I received my dress, the day before my ball, it seemed like a totally different dress. It was too small for me despite the fact that I had lost half a stone in weight, the zip stuck and left a 3-inch opening, and it had a train which was unmanageably long. Neither myself nor my mother, who was with me when I tried it on, remember this train being so long. I never wore the dress and it very nearly ruined my ball. To save the day I had to go and by a dress on the day of the event, which cost me £250. I returned the dress and the woman insisted that the dress had not been altered in any way. She kept me on the doorstep the whole time and was not really interested. She kept the £80 I had paid for the dress and offered no return of the money. I thought at least the fact the dress had not been worn and did not need cleaned would have been reason enough to offer recompense; she did not agree. In summary, I would not recommend this company to anyone.
