• Bowled over by the Quality of the Design & experience

  Our friends, who had a civil partnership ceremony, recommended Maggie to us to design dresses for ours. I'm glad our friends didn't keep her to themselves as Maggie came up trumps with dresses for our special day, very flattering, with many compliments made by our guests about them. Maggie designed fantastic dresses and made the design process stress-free, coming up with exactly what we asked for and making excellent suggestions to improve on our basic design, both sharpening up but entirely realising our original vision. She has a brilliant way of both teasing out what you want from a dress but also on making it even better, by recommending to us (without any pressure) certain design features that we hadn't considered. This means that not only is she an expert at the technical side of dress-making, she is superb at the communication side of things, which can only improve the overall design and consultation experience. We had never commissioned a bespoke dress before so I can assure the novice dress buyer that Maggie will put you at your ease and deliver a dress that will exceed your expectations. Great service, great dresses.We look forward to returning to her for future commissions. J&N

• Devastating dresses

  Fantastic clothes designed for the individual. No-one else will be wearing anything that comes close to Maggie's design. Maggie's creative talents are used to help you to choose the style that is absolutely right for you. Perfect attention to detail is what makes these creations unique.

• Fab frock, great creative and super service

  Maggie designed and made my frock for a very special occasion in Paris. She went to great lengths to understand exactly what I was looking for and made it in record time! I loved the gown she made for me and I can honestly say that it made my special day even more special - even the Parisian ladies stopped to admire the dress! Maggie put me completely at ease and the service was great value for money - I just hope that I get to work with her again soon.

• Best dresses

  Maggie is an absolute gem of a find. She is so nice and easy to get on with and yet so totally professional about her work. The great thing about having clothes made particularly for you is that they fit beautifully and no-one else will be wearing the same outfit. I have a gorgeous turquoise and navy wedding dress and jacket that I just love and always draws comments and a stunning red evening dress that has completely the wow factor. I would not hesitate to recommend Maggie to anyone.

• Evening Gowns

  I have commissioned 3 dresses from Maggie for beauty pagents and a bridesmaid's dress. Each dress has been as brilliant as the last with excellent attention to detail and all are amazing quality! Every dress I have had made has the WOW factor and people always ask where I got it from. She always takes her time over each piece and with clients- she is a total perfectionist! She can make anything you ask her for- even from cut outs from a magazine, her dressmaking skills are fantastic, and she provides excellent value for money. I wouldn’t want an evening dress from anywhere else.
