Best Union in Glasgow

With SEVEN areas/bars to eat and drink there is plenty of room at Glasgow's best Student Union. From the Gameszone with its 26 pool tables and amusements, to The Lounge for chilling out, you'll never be bored! Fresher's week is a hive of activity, with big name bands, celebrities and mega cheap drink promos. On Tuesdays all drinks at the Union are 99p...you can't get much better than that! ASK is also the place to go if you have any problem, questions, queries or issues you need help with while you’re at Strathclyde. Basically whatever the problem they'll try and help you. How's that for total student experience!

The Best Union in Scotland

It was many years ago since I graduated from Strathclyde, however I remember its union very well. The biggest and definitely the best place for students in Scotland, I think, the Strath Union has an amazing seven floors of entertainment. This isn't really the place for great food - but drinks, definitely. Too many drinks promotions to count these days, and with some huge name bands on the line up for special occasions, it's a damn good night out if you're lucky enough to know someone who can get you in! This isn't just for the younger ones, too - most of the students here are in their twenties, so even if you're passed university, don't be afraid to give it a go if you still know folk who attend.

Cheap for students

Strathclyde union is a great place to go if your a student. With regular �£1 a drink nights, its good to have a night out there if your on a budget. On the 6th floor they have a cocktail bar if you fancy something different, and live music and bands are a weekly event. Would reccomend for a good night out. You have to be a student at strathclyde to get in, or go with someone who is a student, and they can sign you in. A student can sign up to 3 non strathclyde members into the union. Worth it for the cheap drinks.
