    Tried this place a few times, never been dissapointed yet. Personally had the mussels almost every time, the chowder and pate are also good. The bread is also lovely and the staff are friendly and efficient.

    The mussel inn is a lovely smart restaurant situated in the heart of Glasgows city centre. They have fresh mussels brought in every day as well as some speciality fresh fish. The place is clean and well presented and the staff welcoming and polite. The food is deliciously prepared and fresh so its well worth a visit to this pleasant restaurant even if you have to travel. The day menu is the only one i have expericed as i went during a shopping trip (this I would heartily reccomend by the way) but the evening one that I looked at promised to be everything and more that the day one is. The food is amazing and unique. Believe me, if you are a fan of sea food this is one place you shouldn't miss!
