• Lupe Pintos Deli

  Lupe Pintos is a great deli for those of you that like it hot. It specialises in Mexican, American, Caribbean and Spanish ingredients and is a must for anyone looking to try out hot chilli sauces. Their range is the biggest I have seen. There is a deli counter which offers a number of less common chesses and meats. I would recommend picking up some of their home made Chorizo which comes in two types – sweet and spicy or their Spanish black pudding. They are all exceptional. They also offer a few beers less common Argentinean and Mexican beers which wash down your hot food very nicely.

• Great Find

  Lupe Pinto's Deli is located on Great Western Road in the West End of Glasgow. I am American and have lived in Scotland for about 2 years now and I find myself sometimes longing for the creature comforts of home. When a friend who moved to Scotland from abroad told me about Lupe Pinto's I was so grateful. They had items like Fluff, grape jelly, Skippy which are all my favorites. Another great thing about Lupe Pinto's is that you can order items online if you cannot make it to the store. I also found loads of Spanish food items to use when I cook. They have a little bit of everything from most countries which is really nice to try different foods while still buying your favorites.
