John Fulton (Plumbers) Ltd was formed in 1973 by David White, Chartered Surveyor, to provide a plumbing service for the Glasgow area. Since then the company has diversified into roofing specialising in leadwork, and more recently into hard metals including copper, zinc, aluminium and stainless steel as well as traditional tiling and slating. With the specialisation in lead and hard metals, the original trading boundaries have expanded with the company completing contracts from as far North as Shetland and Aberdeen to Dumfries in the South. John Fulton Roofing Contractors has been a member of the Lead Contractors' Association (LCA), www.lca.gb.com , for over 20 years. As a result of their membership their quality of work is vetted annually by an independent assessor from the LCA. The company has carried out a number of large scale projects including the recent renovation works at the Kelvingrove Art Galleries in Glasgow; Leverndale Hospital, Glasgow; Argennan House, Kirkcudbright; Dollarbeg Mansion, Dollar; Cloncaird Castle, Ayrshire; Aucheneck Estate, Loch Lomond to name but a few. Their dedicated team of roofers carry out all roofing requirements including slating repairs, flat roofs, leaning of cast iron and UPVC gutters and downpipes amongst others.
