I am totally disgusted at the lies that was told by staff in this store, particularly from the manager Colin Fairley (which we had to find out for ourselves as he would not disclose his name) who served us.My son who is a students paid a deposit for a bed which his girlfriend had not saw and was advised by the store that if she did not like the bed they could transfer their money to another one or no obligation to take one, my son was also advised that the bed on offer was at this price now but it could change prior to the week end when his girlfriend was able to go to the store. Unfortunately as both students and something else financialy cropped up and they decided that they could not afford to purchase a bed at the moment. On contacting the store manager was told that their money could not be refunded which was never mentioned at the time of taking it but aparently is on the reverse of the receipt. (too much too late) they have your money. My son decided to contact their H.O.which he did, they told him that the manager could refund if he wished, a totally different story from that of Colin, or so could his Regional Manager BUT they would not disclose who this was. My son and his girlfriend are totally disgusted at the devious ways of The Bedshed staff and how they are keeping their money that they have NO goods for and that they could least afford from their grants and would advise anyone dealing with THE BEDSHED to think CAREFULLY BEFORE giving over any money as they are NOT a fair trading store or staff infact they are the only ones in todays financial difficulties who are not giving ANY consideration to customers.
